Bike Contest - Reconsidered
Well done for listening, taking stock and thinking over - that is a rare quality in this world!

Bike Contest for Victims of Bike Theft - The Rules
@Neil Fein - I have not voted on the Q or the A, however, there is a lot that is not quite right about this competition, well that is my 'gut feeling' anyway! Leaving regionalism aside, I don't think it works properly as a competition. I have helped a lot of people get a new bike after having theirs stolen, they tend to replace quickly - if at all - and, from a retail perspective, sympathy is given but no special deal. The deal is not normally asked for, even if they are repeat customers. I think that smaller prizes will give equal results.

Should we be recommending Bicycles.StackExchange to our Local Bike Shop (LBS)
In reality there are lots of suppliers trying to clutter every bike shop with POS displays and stuff to go on the counter. Shops do not want any of this stuff because the counter needs to be kept clean - also if people have got questions you want them back in the shop buying stuff and some random website where there are idiots like myself going 'off brand' are not useful for the sales process. What we need is a product with USP to get in to the counter space. Or to go in with some product that does get there somehow.

Please try using smaller versions of images
The software should handle it all for you. Period. Wordpress and almost any community platform does it all. It should also show low res images for mobile users by checking the browser type. The original image should be on a click through.

Who wants water bottles? Who has a catchy tagline? (UPDATE! - New Bottle Design, Art)
Not sure that everyone will feel welcomed by 'we know best' sentiment. That would be -1 if I was to be mean enough to vote!

Not sure about this one, it needs more work to be an advertising-industry-grade tag line. The premise is good but the plural bicycles does not yet work with the singular 'answer' for me.

English/American dictionary?
There could also be some use in clarification on weights + measures. In the UK we are officially metric but there are still some dimensions that are always going to be in inches, e.g. the chain.

This is actually going to be a short list and may be more useful as part of a 'style guide' for writing localised copy.
