I am considering a unicycle, and I would like to know whether I could ask that on this SE.
1 Answer
As far as I am concerned, a unicycle is half a bicycle. It ought to be worth half a question. As long as your question is cycling related or bike mechanics/riding relevant, I say yes. Start asking about circus tents* or non-cycling related material, and I will reserve the right to withdraw that vote.

1Your 'attempt at humour' wasn't funny. Nonetheless I'm not offended. This is an attempt at humour. In NASCAR, they expect us to believe that they exercise 'safety first' How can we believe that if they don't even have child door locks or baby seat anchors? That's an attempt at humour Commented Mar 30, 2012 at 17:50

1Ignoring the humor part, I agree. If it's got one or more bicycle-type wheels, some kind of pedals and otherwise basically use the same parts as a bicycle, it's on-topic here. No need to go counting the wheels to decide if it's on-topic.– freiheit ModCommented Mar 31, 2012 at 2:49

No, no, no, no. Tandems are full bikes, solos are half bikes, unicycles are a whole 'nother thing. You can't misuse terminology like that.– KohiCommented Apr 2, 2012 at 21:36

I'm thinking that questions about circus tents should probably go to The Great Outdoors.– nhinkleCommented Apr 30, 2012 at 23:29
